Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic

A light and flavorful baked cod dish with fresh lemon and garlic, perfect for a healthy dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place cod fillets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and rub minced garlic over each fillet.
  3. Sprinkle with oregano, salt, and black pepper. Top each fillet with lemon slices.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
