Cherry Marshmallow Fudge Bars

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sugar and cocoa powder until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chopped cherries and mini marshmallows.
  6. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
