Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

A rich and flavorful pasta dish with tender shrimp in a creamy Cajun-spiced sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
