For the Crust:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and sesame oil.
- Place chicken wings in the crock pot and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until wings are tender.
- If desired, remove wings and thicken the sauce by mixing cornstarch with a little water, then stirring into the crock pot. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
