For the Crust:
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix egg yolks, cottage cheese, salt, and honey (if using) until smooth.
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites until just combined.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6-8 even mounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and set. Let cool before serving.
