For the Crust:
- 1 fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced into rings

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add cold water while whisking until a smooth batter forms.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each pineapple ring into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Carefully place the battered rings into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
