For the Crust:

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar caramel topping
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tub whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare and bake the German chocolate cake mix according to package directions in a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the caramel topping, allowing them to seep into the holes.
  4. Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans evenly over the top.
  5. Let the cake cool completely, then spread whipped topping over the top.
  6. Drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving.
