For the Crust:
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar caramel topping
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tub whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Prepare and bake the German chocolate cake mix according to package directions in a 9×13 inch pan.
- While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over the top using the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the caramel topping, allowing them to seep into the holes.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans evenly over the top.
- Let the cake cool completely, then spread whipped topping over the top.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving.
