For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic. Sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
