For the Crust:
- 4 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the sliced onions evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the onions.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top, then sprinkle with crushed Ritz crackers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
