For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips, then pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with hot fudge sauce before serving.
