Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

A fun and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers using tater tots as the bun.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 4 slices American cheese, cut into small squares
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet in pairs (for top and bottom buns) and bake according to package instructions until crispy.
  2. While tater tots bake, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
  3. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Place a cheese square on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  4. Assemble mini burgers by placing a cheeseburger patty between two tater tots. Top with ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
