A fun and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers using tater tots as the bun.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 4 slices American cheese, cut into small squares
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet in pairs (for top and bottom buns) and bake according to package instructions until crispy.
- While tater tots bake, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Place a cheese square on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Assemble mini burgers by placing a cheeseburger patty between two tater tots. Top with ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles.
