No-Sugar Added Holiday Apple Cinnamon Bake

A naturally sweetened dessert made with apples, cinnamon, and nuts—no added sugar or flour required.

For the Crust:

  • 4 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Layer the spiced apples in the baking dish and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk almond butter, vanilla extract, and almond milk until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the almond butter mixture over the apples and walnuts.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until apples are tender and top is golden.
