For the Crust:

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions using eggs, oil, and water. Pour batter into prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. While cake is baking, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a bowl. Set aside.
  4. Once cake is done, let it cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  5. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to absorb. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Before serving, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over cake and top with diced strawberries.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
