A light and refreshing strawberry-infused tres leches cake, perfect for summer gatherings.

For the Crust:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Prepare cake mix according to package instructions using eggs, oil, and water. Pour batter into prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cake is baking, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a bowl. Set aside.
- Once cake is done, let it cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
- Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to absorb. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over cake and top with diced strawberries.
