A moist and flavorful pound cake made with 7UP for a light and citrusy twist.

For the Crust:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 cup 7UP soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla extract and almond extract.
- Gradually add flour and salt, alternating with 7UP, beginning and ending with flour. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
