Air Fryer Apples

These Air Fryer Apples are the perfect healthy dessert! They are sweet, tender, and taste like apple pie filling. This recipe is vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free.

For the Crust:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  2. Slice the apples into 1/2 inch slices.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt.
  4. Add the apple slices to the bowl and toss to coat.
  5. Place the apples in the air fryer basket in an even layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the apples are tender.

Notes

You can use any type of apple for this recipe. I prefer honey crisp or gala. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake these in the oven at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
