For the Crust:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Fold in pecans.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
