Bacon Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Juicy chicken wrapped with bacon and garlic parmesan, baked to golden perfection for a hearty dinner.

  • 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 7 slices thick-cut bacon
  • Garlic parmesan wing sauce, for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 175°C and allow it to fully preheat.
  2. Slice each chicken breast lengthwise into strips to resemble tenders. Drizzle with olive oil and massage thoroughly to coat. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Encase each seasoned strip of chicken with a slice of bacon, making sure the ends are secured underneath. Arrange wrapped chicken pieces in a 23×33 cm casserole dish.
  4. Drizzle garlic parmesan wing sauce evenly over all the bacon-wrapped chicken, then baste to ensure uniform coverage.
  5. Place the casserole dish on the center rack and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C.
  6. For crispier bacon, broil the chicken for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, carefully monitoring for golden colour.
  7. Transfer the chicken to serving plates and serve warm.

Notes

For optimal crisping, use thin-cut bacon or pat thick-cut bacon dry with paper towels before use.
