Black Forest Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs

Decadent brownie balls filled with cherry-studded cookie dough and coated in dark chocolate, inspired by the classic Black Forest flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 box fudge brownie mix, baked and cooled
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
  • 12 oz dark chocolate melting wafers
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla. Mix in flour until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and dried cherries.
  3. Take a tablespoon of brownie crumbs and flatten in your palm. Place a teaspoon of cookie dough in the center and wrap brownie around it, rolling into a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
  4. Melt chocolate wafers according to package directions. Dip each ball into chocolate using a fork, allowing excess to drip off. Place on parchment paper.
  5. If desired, top each bomb with a cherry piece before chocolate sets. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
