For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 100g blue cheese (crumbled)
- 50g walnuts (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and thyme evenly over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly from the long side into a log, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the rounds on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
