Brazilian Mounjaro is a refreshing, low-calorie detox drink made with butterfly pea flowers, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Known for its vibrant color transformation and natural health benefits, it’s perfect for boosting energy, improving digestion, and supporting metabolism.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonsdried butterfly pea flowers
  • 500ml (2 cups) water
  • 1 tablespoonapple cider vinegar (with the mother)
  • Juice of1lemon (approximately2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoonhoney (optional)
  • 1 teaspoonfresh ginger, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 500 ml of water in a saucepan. If using ginger, add it to the water at this stage.
  2. Remove from heat and add the butterfly pea flowers. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the flowers (optional) for a clearer drink.
  4. Add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and honey (if using) to the tea.
  5. Stir well and observe the color change from blue to purple.
  6. Serve immediately as a hot drink or pour over ice for a chilled version.

Notes

Use a straw to protect your teeth when drinking apple cider vinegar.
Adjust sweetness to taste using honey, agave, or maple syrup.
Best consumed 15 minutes before meals for appetite control.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Do not boil again after adding vinegar or lemon juice.
