Ultimate Ooey Gooey Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

These cheesy garlic chicken wraps are loaded with gooey melted cheese, tender chicken, and a flavorful garlic sauce, wrapped in soft tortillas for a quick and delicious meal.

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: sliced red bell peppers for added veggies

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in sour cream and a pinch of salt. Simmer for 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
  4. Assemble wraps: Place a tortilla on a flat surface. Add a layer of cooked chicken, top with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, drizzle with garlic sauce, and sprinkle parsley. Add bell peppers if using.
  5. Roll up the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  6. In the same skillet, melt a little butter and sear each wrap on both sides until golden and cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Cut in half and serve hot.

Notes

For extra gooeyness, use freshly shredded cheese. Adjust garlic to taste for spice level. These wraps can be prepped ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking. Nutrition is approximate and per serving.
