Cottage Cheese Cheese Stick Bites

Crispy and gooey cheese sticks made with cottage cheese, perfect for a protein-packed snack cooked in an air fryer or oven.

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small stick shapes, about 2 inches long.
  3. Beat the egg in a shallow dish. In another dish, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each cheese stick into the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F or the oven to 400°F.
  6. Place the sticks in the air fryer basket or on a baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Notes

For a crispier texture, ensure the cheese sticks are well-coated. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
