  • 1lb shrimp– peeled and deveined
  • 1lb chicken breast– diced into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbspCajun seasoning– divided
  • 1 tbspolive oil
  • 2 tbspunsalted butter
  • 3cloves garlic– minced
  • 1 cupheavy cream
  • 1 cupmilk
  • ½ cupgrated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cupshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tspsmoked paprika
  • ½ tspred pepper flakes(optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ tspsalt(adjust to taste)
  • Fresh parsley– chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring alarge pot of salted waterto a boil.
  2. Add thepastaand cook untilal dente(firm to the bite).
  3. Drain and set aside.
  4. Season thediced chickenwith1 tbsp Cajun seasoning.
  5. Heatolive oilin a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the chicken for5-6 minutes, untilgolden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  8. In the same skillet, melt1 tbsp butter.
  9. Add theshrimpand cook for2-3 minutes per sideuntil pink and opaque.
  10. Remove and set aside.
  11. Reduce heat tomedium-low, then melt the remaining1 tbsp butter.
  12. Addminced garlicand sauté for1-2 minutesuntil fragrant.
  13. Pour inheavy cream and milk, stirring continuously.
  14. AddParmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, smoked paprika, and remaining Cajun seasoning.
  15. Stir well until the sauce becomessmooth and creamy.
  16. Return thecooked pasta, chicken, and shrimpto the skillet.
  17. Toss everything together until evenly coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
  18. Adjust seasoning withsalt and red pepper flakes, if desired.
  19. Garnish withfresh parsleyand serve warm.
