For the Crust:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz twisted pasta (such as fusilli or rotini)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly. Add mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return to the skillet, coating with the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
