  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • Assorted fillings (cheese, vegetables, or meat)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Whisk in water and egg until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Dip fillings into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Carefully drop coated fillings into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
