Cucumber Lemonade Recipe – Easy Summer Detox Drink

This refreshing cucumber lemonade is a hydrating, citrusy drink perfect for summer. Made with fresh cucumber, lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness, it’s ideal for detoxing and cooling down on hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1/2large cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 8lemons, juiced
  • 1/2 cupsugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1.5liters of cold water
  • Optional: additional cucumber slices or lemon rounds for garnish
  • Optional: mint leaves or ginger for flavor variation

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the cucumber into medium pieces.
  2. Juice all 8 lemons, removing seeds.
  3. In a blender, combine cucumber chunks, lemon juice, and a splash of water. Blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the blended mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
  5. In a large pitcher, mix the strained liquid with 1.5 liters of cold water.
  6. Stir in sugar until fully dissolved (adjust sweetness to taste).
  7. Add ice cubes and garnish with cucumber or lemon slices before serving.

Notes

To make without a blender, finely grate the cucumber and strain it after soaking in lemon juice.
Replace sugar with honey, agave, or stevia for a healthier option.
Chill the pitcher beforehand to keep the lemonade cold longer.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Add sparkling water for a fizzy version.
