Dorito Taco Salad Easy

Crispy Doritos, savory beef, and fresh veggies tossed in Catalina dressing for a flavorful, crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

  • 15 millilitres olive oil
  • 450 grams lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 medium iceberg lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 60120 grams nacho cheese Doritos chips, coarsely crushed
  • 240 millilitres Catalina dressing
  • Sour cream, as desired
  • Guacamole, as desired

Instructions

  1. Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, stirring and breaking up any clumps. Cook until beef is uniformly browned, then drain excess fat and set aside to cool.
  2. Chop iceberg lettuce finely and dice the tomato. Transfer both to a spacious mixing bowl.
  3. Add cooled cooked beef, crushed Doritos chips, and Catalina dressing to the bowl with lettuce and tomato. Toss thoroughly to ensure even coating and distribution.
  4. Divide salad among plates and finish with a generous dollop of sour cream and guacamole, if desired.

Notes

Add Doritos and dressing immediately before serving to maintain a crisp texture.
