Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  6. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 1/4-inch-thick rectangle.
  7. Brush the dough with melted butter, then evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the surface.
