Easy Turtle Bars

These easy turtle bars are a delicious no-bake treat featuring a graham cracker crust topped with gooey caramel, pecans, and chocolate chips.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, honey, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and turns golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over the crust. Sprinkle chopped pecans and chocolate chips evenly on top.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For best results, use high-quality chocolate chips.
