Golden Baked Chicken & Turkey Sausage Cassoulet

A hearty and flavorful cassoulet featuring golden baked chicken and turkey sausage, slow-cooked to perfection with beans and herbs for a comforting French-inspired dish.

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, bone-in
  • 1 lb turkey sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup dried white beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, brown chicken thighs and turkey sausage over medium heat.
  3. Add onions, carrots, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in beans, broth, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 45-60 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Serve hot with crusty bread. Can be made ahead and reheated.
