For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until caramel is bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Sprinkle crispy rice cereal and chopped nuts (if using) over the top. Press lightly to adhere.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
