Gooey Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Decadent bars with layers of chocolate, caramel, and a crispy crunch for the perfect sweet treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until caramel is bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Sprinkle crispy rice cereal and chopped nuts (if using) over the top. Press lightly to adhere.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
