Hasselback Apple and Brie Charcuterie Bake

A delightful twist on the classic Hasselback potato, featuring thinly sliced apples stuffed with creamy Brie cheese and baked to perfection on a charcuterie-style tray. Perfect for fall gatherings or as an elegant appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, cut into thin slices
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the apples thinly (about 1/8 inch) using a mandoline or knife, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Place the sliced apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Stuff each apple slice gap with a thin slice of Brie cheese.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil, honey, and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until apples are tender and cheese is melted.
  7. Top with chopped pecans and serve warm on a charcuterie board.

Notes

For best results, use firm apples that hold their shape. Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of honey. Can be served with crackers or additional charcuterie items.
