Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), cored
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • For the Crumble:
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  3. Arrange apples in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender.
  4. While apples bake, prepare the crumble: In a bowl, combine oats, walnuts, cranberries, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  5. After 20 minutes, remove apples from oven and top each with crumble mixture.
  6. Return to oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until crumble is golden and crisp.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
