Honey Garlic Salmon Fillets

Succulent salmon fillets glazed with honey, garlic, and fresh lemon for a flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 23 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry using kitchen paper. Season both sides evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, dried oregano, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until deeply golden and just cooked through. Transfer to a warm plate and set aside.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the same pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently. Add soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and blend well.
  4. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Allow to simmer for 1 minute to glaze. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before transferring to serving plates.

Notes

Do not overcook the salmon to maintain a tender, flaky texture. Thoroughly patting fillets dry aids browning and crisping.
