Honey-Spiced Pear Oatmeal with Pistachios

A warm, comforting oatmeal topped with spiced pears and crunchy pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pear, diced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pistachios

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in rolled oats and reduce heat to simmer.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add diced pear and cinnamon, stirring to combine.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until pear is soft.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with honey.
  7. Top with pistachios and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot. Adjust sweetness to taste.
