  • 2 tspItalian seasoning
  • 1 cuplow-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbspcornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp cold water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping parsley, mincing garlic, and juicing the lemons.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes, scraping the bottom to release browned bits.
  6. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce slightly thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Add the lemon juice and Parmesan cheese; stir until smooth and creamy.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece, and simmer 2 more minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with pasta or vegetables.
