Maple Orange Glazed Chicken Quarters

Juicy chicken quarters glazed with a sweet and tangy maple orange sauce, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 chicken quarters
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken quarters until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the glaze over the top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, basting halfway through, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally and glaze is caramelized.
  6. Garnish with orange slices and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure to baste the chicken regularly for the best glaze. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
