Maple Pecan Brie Stuffed Apples

Tender apples baked with Brie, maple, pecans, and thyme. A rich, comforting treat for sweet or savory occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 113 grams Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 45 grams chopped pecans
  • 2 grams ground cinnamon
  • 4 large apples, such as Honeycrisp or Fuji
  • 30 milliliters maple syrup
  • Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Slice off the tops of the apples and carefully core, ensuring bottoms remain intact.
  2. Combine Brie cubes, chopped pecans, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Stir well for even distribution.
  3. Spoon the prepared filling into each hollowed apple cavity, pressing gently to fill completely.
  4. Set the stuffed apples in a baking dish. Drizzle with maple syrup, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 25–30 minutes, until apples are tender and Brie is melted.
  5. Allow to cool briefly. Garnish each with fresh thyme sprigs and serve warm.

Notes

For enhanced flavour, select crisp apples that hold their shape during baking.
