For the Crust:
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, gently combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and parsley.
- Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
