For the Crust:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (21 oz) pecan pie filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the pecan pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the filling.
  4. Top with chopped pecans and brown sugar.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
