For the Crust:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix pecans, honey, and melted butter. Spoon over cake batter and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
