Salted Caramel Apple Mini Pies

Delicious mini pies filled with spiced apples and drizzled with salted caramel for a perfect sweet treat.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 46 tablespoons ice water
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into circles to fit mini pie tins. Press dough into tins and trim edges.
  4. In another bowl, toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Fill pie crusts with apple mixture.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden and apples are tender.
  6. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
