For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Spoon batter into muffin liners, filling each halfway. Add a teaspoon of salted caramel sauce to each, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
