Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

These sticky garlic chicken noodles are a quick and flavorful dinner option, combining tender chicken with a sweet and savory sauce, served over noodles for a satisfying meal.

  • For the chicken:
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • For the noodles:
  • 8 oz noodles (udon or spaghetti)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade for the chicken by mixing soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken strips to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and green onions to the skillet, tossing to combine and warm through.
  7. Serve garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
