Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding

This creamy Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding is a delicious twist on classic banana pudding, combining fresh strawberries and cheesecake flavors in every bite.

  • 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant banana pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 (12-ounce) box vanilla wafers, crushed (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. In another large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. Gently fold the thickened pudding into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. In a large trifle dish or 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed vanilla wafers, half of the sliced bananas, and half of the sliced strawberries.
  6. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the fruit layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, bananas, strawberries, and pudding mixture.
  8. Top with additional whipped topping and crushed vanilla wafers for garnish.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas and fresh strawberries. This dessert can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
